Air Radiators meet with Komatsu Mining Corporation

Air Radiators has discussed a new opportunity to supply international mining equipment company Komatsu Mining Corporation following its visit to Geelong.
Last week, Komatsu Mining toured Air Radiators to see if there was potential to source components and materials for its advanced underground mining equipment as it looks to increase its Australia production capacity.
As an accredited supplier to other international original equipment manufacturers such as Hitachi and Caterpillar, Air Radiators are capable of meeting Komatsu’s technical requirements and quality assurance demands.
Komatsu Mining Corporation, which is focused on design, manufacture, repair and service of underground mining equipment, is a subsidiary of Komatsu Ltd, an international leader in construction, mining and military equipment.
Air Radiators Business Development and Marketing Manager, Jove Manev said the Lara company would continue talks with Komatsu.
“Whilst touring our facility, we were able to identify Air Radiators products that represent opportunities for Komatsu,” Mr Manev said.
“We see this engagement with Komatsu as the potential opener to broader discussions with other Komatsu divisions — in particular their mining and construction division.
“As the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) radiator supplier to Hitachi Japan for the larger dump trucks and excavators, we have the experience required to export to Japan.”
